A very nice, large map of California south of Santa Cruz and parts of Southern Nevada. Most of this area was still un-developed. There is no Las Vegas yet. The large Tulare Lake and smaller Owens Lake north of Bakersfield have disappeared since with their waters diverted to irrigation in the Valley. The major cities, topography, rivers, lakes, and railroads are shown. Color-coded counties.
