This well executed bird’s eye view of the 1876 Centennial Fairgrounds, Fairmont Park, Philadelphia.  The inset in lower left a schematic of the fairgrounds identifying key buildings in words and also numerically with the aid of the index listing 51 locations.  The view is looking across the Schuykill River.  Key buildings identified include the Machinery Hall, Main Building, Agricultural Building, Observatory, etc.   There is a train in foreground pulling into the station.
