This is a lage map of Indian Territories, Public Land (now the Oklahoma panhandle) and Northern Texas. The map outlines the Territories of the various tribes - Osage, Cherokee, Sacs & Foxes, Creek, Pottawatomies, Seminoles, Kiowa, Kiowa-Comanche-Apache Reservation, Chickosaw, and Choctaw. Plus "Comanches Hunting Ground," and public land ceded by Choctaws and Chickasaws, Cherokees, and Seminoles. The northern Texas counties are color coded, but the Kiowa and Comanche territories would appear to be what is now the Texas panhandle. In addition, the routes and proposed routes of several railroads are noted as well as settlements and topographical features.
