1851 Tallis Ornate Map of Turkey / Asia Minor
This is an ornate and highly decorative map of Asia Minor, mostly of Turkey in Asia, filled with detail.  There is also good detail on Cyprus and Rhodes. The steel engraved map features four vignettes and fancy borders of the Tallis style: Mount Olympus, Rhodes, a sailing ship and two Turks.   Engraved by J. Rapkin.  Color outline.
