This is a very nice map of eastern Canada. Most of the settlements are along the coast, St. Lawrence or the Great Lakes. York is shown before it incorporated to become Toronto. Some inaccuracies can be seen in northern areas, such as the shape of Akimiski Island (Angomisca) in James Bay. Plenty of details are offered as to topography, rivers, lakes, roads, canals and settlements. From A New General Atlas of the World. Teesdale maps are increasingly scarce.
