This is an attractive and charming double hemisphere map, colored, and framed.  It is set against a background of allegorical figures, with an ornate floral title cartouche. The direction of the trade winds is shown with arrows. A large island, marked off the northwest coast of America, might have been based on an early sighting of Alaska, and is marked "discovered 1741". Only the western part of Australia is mapped, along with a bit of "Dimens Land".
